Duet status update! Last couple of days have been rough, slow wind, rough water, one big squall we had to backtrack quite a ways to avoid. After the storm last night, we had to motor overnight due to poor wind. Today (Monday) has been better, much calmer seas. And wind is picking up from a favorable direction. Fishing a lot, catching lots of kelp, but no fish so far. Wishing we had the solar panels to keep the batteries topped off, but wind generator helps. We have 507 miles to go, and have gone 302 since we left Marathon on this leg. All is well aboard Duet, behind schedule but hopefully we’ll make it up soon.
